The Galilee Accelerator for Smart Industry is a program dedicated to supporting early-stage startups from all over Israel, which are developing solutions and business models that can transform the manufacturing sector. The Galilee Accelerator for Smart Industry is a program dedicated to supporting early-stage startups from all over Israel, which are developing solutions and business models that can transform the manufacturing sector. The program is managed by Ort Braude Academic Engineering College Karmiel, Moona – A Space for Change, Misgav Regional Council and the Karmiel Municipality. The Accelerator is supported by the Israeli government – The Ministry of Economy and Industry, Maof-Tech, and is closely cooperating with industrial companies – Israeli and multi-national ones. The Accelerator is also supported by the ICA fund, founded by Baron Hirsch, focusing on developing the periphery regions of Galilee and the Negev.The Accelerator is focused on startups that target manufacturers as customers, taking part in the big wave of innovation currently underway in industry-leading companies around the world – often referred to as Industry 4.0 or Smart Factory. This segment includes innovations in manufacturing and production management, maintenance, logistics and supply chain, safety, energy, quality management and more. The relevant technologies are diverse and include IIoT, AI, Big Data, AR, Additive Manufacturing (3DP) and other software and hardware technologies.
The Accelerator has established a rich network of industrial and tech companies, Israeli and multi-national to help its entrepreneurs succeed. These companies benefit from innovative solutions and top-notch startup engagement. With high-quality mentors and access to these companies' network, we help entrepreneurs define and improve their startup business model, while reaching first customers, in order to perform technical and business validation, pilots and sales. The startups are turbocharged to make quick progress in their critical aspects - product, customers, funding and more.
Entrepreneurs and mentors are invited to join us from all over Israel – not just the Galilee. This is a nation-wide program in the unique domain of entrepreneurship for the benefit of the manufacturing industry.
The Accelerator is open to everyone, any entrepreneur in the industrial segment is invited to join.
The Accelerator is located in Karmiel as a part of an excellence center in the manufacturing industry domain that is being built in the city, which, also includes the Institute for Advanced Manufacturing. Close
